MetLife Creates More Than 1,500 Charlotte Jobs –MetLifehas created more than 1,500 new jobs in Charlotte, NC, as part of the establishment of a headquarters for its U.S. Retail division. In March of 2103, MetLife committed to creating 1,386 new jobs at the Charlotte campus by the end of 2015 and has meet and exceeded that goal, way ahead of schedule! The positionswere brought to Charlotte as part of the company’schoiceto consolidate all of its North American retail into one, centrally located headquarters. Charlotte’s Ballantyne Corporate Park won the project, according to Charlotte Business Journal, Ballanytne Corporate Park was backed by over $80 million worth of state and local incentives.
