I especially liked the ability to choose exactly what I was eating; but, if you can’t decide they have numerous cardswithsuggested entrees which tells you exactly the protein, veggies, seasonings and sauces to use. I tried the Teriyaki Chicken with brown ricefor my first time and my lunch companion chose the CitrusBeef bowl. You fill your bowl, hand it to the guys who do thecooking on this huge grill and they bring it to your table! How easy is that?? Sophia, who waited on us, was very helpful in answering our questions and also made sure we didn’t need to ask for a beverage refill.
Now, you figure-friendly folks will especially like this…you can go on Genghis Grill website and actually figure out how many calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, etc.are in your meal – wow! It’s called “Build your own Bowl”– how cool is that?? Weight-Watcher lovers can determine the number of points they will be consuming and anyone can make this work for any diet they are on – there’s fresh veggies, brown rice, white rice, noodles, tons of sauces and every protein imaginable from chicken to beef to shrimp to calamari!
Oh, and last, but not least, we sampled the decadent brownie with ice cream and caramel…so much for my diet! But if you are splurging, it is a great choice. We also spoke to one of the managers, Gary, who told us they are planning on opening 2 more Genghis Grill locations in Charlotte – great news for Charlotte!
