- The Fourth of July Celebration at the U.S. National Whitewater Center: There’s a $5 parking fee per vehicle but entry to the festival is FREE. Enjoy two nights of local beer, a fireworks show and live music by bands such as Coddle Creek and Yonder Mountain String Band. Festival takes place on both July 3rd and July 4th. Here is a link to the full schedule of events.
- Skyshow at BB&T Ballpark: Attend the Skyshow Street Party and enjoy fireworks from Romare Bearden Park for FREE or purchase tickets to the Knight’s game to enjoy an American pastime and get the best view of the fireworks. Visit Skyshow’s FAQ page for more details. Skyshow will be held on Tuesday, July 4th.
- Spend the day at Carowinds riding roller coasters and stick around for a fireworks show at 9:30 pm on Tuesday, July 4th.
- On Saturday, July 1st the Charlotte Symphony will perform a salute to America in their Summer Pops series at Symphony Park. Gates open at 5 pm and tickets can be purchased here.
Please remember to leave pets at home for all fireworks events. Stay safe and have fun, Charlotte!
