What does politics,chili, hayrides, pumpkin carvings and a live rock band have in common ? Why the 1st Annual Ballantyne Festival, of course! 20 groups will be competing for the “Best Chili” award and local and state politicians from both parties will be serving up samples of chili to everyone!
Plus there will be plenty of activities for your family, including hayrides, pumpkin carving, games and contests. And, there will be livemusic by rock band Bale & Smyth,afood truck catered by Roaming Fork will be selling food and beverages and Junior Scoops will be selling Italian Ices – YUMMY!
Oh, and this is cool -police and firemen will be be displaying their vehicles and equipment complete with demonstrations.I wonder if they will let the Buzz wear one of those cute firemen helmets and sit up in the firetruck – might be a photo-op moment!
