Ballantyne Chili cook-off turns into Autumn Festival

What started as a chili cook-off has become a day of food, games and entertainment, combined with the opportunity to help others.

Ballantyne Festival Autumn in the Park seeks to draw the community together for a fun, family-friendly, autumn festival while supporting local causes.

The festivalis a daylong festival that promises the Ballantyne community an autumn-inspired experience for adults, kids and families alike. Beginning late morning, enjoy a chili cook-off, games, inflatables, pumpkin painting, hayride, performances, crafts, and more. Live music kicks off in the afternoon, complemented by an oyster roast, beer, and wine served into the evening. Ballantyne Festival is a 501(c)(3) charity andis run completely by volunteers. Net proceeds will go to benefit local nonprofits and causes.

The fourth annual Ballantyne Festival, Autumn in the Park, will be held on Saturday, October 11th @ 11a.m.-9p.m. in theBallantyne District Park, behind the Morrison Family YMCA. Get your tickets today!
