Logistics Company Comes to Ballantyne and Brings Jobs!

XPO Logistics, a Greenwich, Conn. based company and a tenant in Ballantyne Corporate Park, was featured in a cover story on WBTV last week onThursday, August 22nd. The story covers the jobs this growing company is creating for new college grads in the Charlotte/Ballantyne area. Ballantyne Corporate Park isa 535-acre master-planned office and first-class business community in North Carolina. Their websitedescribes the business park as “including over 4 million square feet of Class “A” office space and is the choice for Fortune 00 and Fortune 700 Headquarters, plus home to Lending Tree and ESPN Regional Television.” The Park is zoned for 6.5 million square feet of office space, medical office, restaurants and hotels. The Charlotte Observer notes that salaries for the new jobs will vary, but the total payroll is estimated to be $14.8 million plus benefits, according to the announcement.
