For starters, the Gallery Restaurant of Ballantyne will feature wine tastings with complementing plates oflocal cheeses and lavosh. All tastings are $25 per person and begin at 6pm. Stay healthy withthe Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Lunch & Learn next Wednesday, July 17, at 12:00pm in the Bissell Training Room (3rd floor, Chandler Building) to learn more about cystic fibrosis (CF), what CFF does and the Get Fit Program!Register by emailing activities@bissellcompanies.com. And if that isn’t quite what you had in mind for keeping your mind & body in shape, make sure to join the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for its2013 Get Fit Programs: CF Cycle for Life and Xtreme Hike to Cure Cystic Fibrosis. Choose from a 35 mile or 65 mile one day ride in Waxhaw and/or a 30.1 mile one day hike in the mountains of Western NC. Youll train alongside your teammates and challenge yourself while supporting a great cause, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. On another note, a new school, the Academic Advantage Center is NOW OPEN in Ballantyne! The AAC’s school year is all set to begin onSeptember 3, 2013. Providing opportunities for parents to work with their children to encourage confidence and self-esteem, the AAC describes their primary academic goals on their website, “The Academic Advantage was established in 2000 and provides convenient, results-oriented, tutoring for students in grades K-12. Our powerful tutoring program comprised of highly educated tutors, focuses on academic improvement and building confidence; cultivating academic minds through the power of one-on-one and group tutoring.” Soundslike a great place to us, here at Savvy and Company Real Estate.
