Representative Sue Myrick is not going to seek re-election haslaunched a mad scramble of interested candidates. BIG MEETING at this Saturday’s (February 11th – 9 am) Ballantyne Breakfast Club meeting at The Ballantyne Hotel & Spa. Many of our city and state leaders will be in attendance. In light of this announcementby Rep.Sue Myrick, it has been reportedformer Mecklenburg Sheriff and current County Commissioner, Jim Pendergraph is going to run as well rumors of various state and local politicians mulling over whether to throw their hat in the ringsuch as former State Senator Robert Pittinger, City Council representative Andy Dulin, and former County Commission Chair, Jennifer Roberts…interesting times indeed!
Confirmed attendees at the Ballantyne Breakfast Club’s February meeting include State leaders Senator Bob Rucho, Representative Ruth Samuelson and Representative Bill Brawley.

Amelia Stinson-Wesley, Tim Morgan, Dr. Hugh Hattabaugh (or designated representative).
